On June 7-9, Pink human rights defender NGO conducted the “Engage Everyone” training for regional NGOs and initiatives.
The aim of the training was to inform the NGOs and initiatives involved in regional work about human rights, discrimination, its types, sexuality, stereotypes and to form a future collaborative platform.
Participants were informed on “myths and reality” about LGBT people and other groups, human rights, the European Convention, protection mechanisms, discrimination, protected characteristics, and sexuality. Games were used for the participants to practice the knowledge they received and real-life situations were discussed.
At the end of the training, the participants were given certificates.
The participants reached an agreement on further cooperation for more effective human rights protection.
