Shadow report, 2019
This report is a joint submission to the UN Human Rights Council at the 35th session of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR). It was prepared by Pink human rights defender NGO and Eastern European Coalition of LGBT+ Equality.
The report is focused on equality and anti-discrimination issues towards LGBT people. The observations are made based on the years’ work of Pink in LGBT human rights protection field, within the framework of which the organization has not only provided legal, psychological and social assistance but also has carried advocacy for comprehensive legislation on prohibition of discrimination and for State policy to address sexual minorities’ issues.
The report is composed of a short notice on implementation of the recommendations made during the previous cycle, as well as of description of practical situation. At the end of the report are presented the recommendations to the State.
Annual review, 2018
Every year, Pink Armenia presents an annual review of the human rights situation of LGBT persons in Armenia accompanied with facts available to the NGO and a legal analysis.
In the aftermath of the “Velvet Revolution” of 2018, Armenia is witnessing an unprecedented level of hate speech related to people’s sexual orientation or gender identity in mass and social media. This is, first of all, predicated on the former government administration’s active political manipulations.

The Human Rights Situation of LGBT People in Armenia, 2017 report summarizes the cases filed to and documented by PINK Armenia, presents excerpts from interviews with LGBT persons, introduces the court cases filed in 2017 and publications from online and mass media.
Annual review, 2016
In 2016 PINK Armenia has documented cases regarding the violation of the right to life, the right to protection from torture or inhuman, degrading treatment, the right to be free from discrimination and hate speech, the right to a private and family life, dignity and honor, and the right to equality and equal protection before the law.
Annual review, 2015
The report shows what violations the state has perpetrated in its interactions with LGBT people, the nature of rights violations that have been recorded in interactions with third parties, and the situation created as a result of the state’s failure to create equal opportunities and a safe environment for all.

This report summarizes reported and documented cases of human rights violations during 2014 reported to PINK Armenia, records of interviews with LGBT people and data obtained from court cases, internet sources and studies of other reports.
